Pistil Stitch

Pistil Stitch is nothing but a combination of French knot and a straight stitch i.e. a tailed French knot. This is again a Brazilian embroidery stitch technique.

Let us see the process,

Two points are involved in the needle movement of Pistil Stitch.

Step 1 : Take the needle out through the point A.

Pistil3

Step 2 : Twist the thread around the needle to make the French knot, then insert the needle through the point B.

Pistil Stitch is formed…. simple rite ???
