SAL continues…

Here s my motif on which Lesson 6 and 7 stitches are incorporated.

Lesson 6 and 7 includes,

  • Straight stitch variation,
  • Slanting satin stitch,
  • Overcast stitch variation,
  • Satin stitch variation.

The outcome of all the above stitches are excellent, but I have to work more on each stitch with little more patience and concentration.

SAL–with alterations….

Based on the comments from our Anita, I have made some alterations on my motif, as u  know I used different strands for different stitches, that z a mistake from my part, she specified about threads clearly in the needs list, I interpreted it wrongly.

Some maintenance and painting works is going on at my home, so iam away from my embroidery hoop for a while , thatz y no work posts, somehow I ll find time for SAL.

SAL Chikan Embroidery – Lessons 3 and 4

In lessons 3 and 4 we dealt with back stitch, double back stitch, whipped back stitch, detached chain variation, roman stitch. See our motif is taking shape rite….

I was unaware that the chikan embroidery is doing with single color thread. I did different stitches with different colors just to distinguish the stitches in single glance ( in future ).
