SAL continues…

Here s my motif on which Lesson 6 and 7 stitches are incorporated.

Lesson 6 and 7 includes,

  • Straight stitch variation,
  • Slanting satin stitch,
  • Overcast stitch variation,
  • Satin stitch variation.

The outcome of all the above stitches are excellent, but I have to work more on each stitch with little more patience and concentration.

Itz really enjoying….

SAL–with alterations….

Based on the comments from our Anita, I have made some alterations on my motif, as u  know I used different strands for different stitches, that z a mistake from my part, she specified about threads clearly in the needs list, I interpreted it wrongly.

okie iam in a hurry, she has already posted her next lesson…

see u soon..

Some maintenance and painting works is going on at my home, so iam away from my embroidery hoop for a while , thatz y no work posts, somehow I ll find time for SAL.

SAL Chikan Embroidery – Lessons 3 and 4

In lessons 3 and 4 we dealt with back stitch, double back stitch, whipped back stitch, detached chain variation, roman stitch. See our motif is taking shape rite….

detached chain and whipped back stitch

Roman stitch,

I was unaware that the chikan embroidery is doing with single color thread. I did different stitches with different colors just to distinguish the stitches in single glance ( in future ).

Those who are interested in chikan work, please enroll for the second phase SAL by sending an email to Anita.
